Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1.5 cups rajma


  • 1 nos onion


  • 2 nos tomato


  • 1 tsp ginger and garlic paste


  • 4 nos cloves


  • 1 nos cinnamon stick


  • 2 tsp salt


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder


  • 1 tsp everest rajma masala


  • 1 tsp dry ginger powder


  • 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves


  • 1 tsp mustard oil


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 pinch asafoetida

Directions

  • Wash and soak Rajma for 4 hours.
  • Add salt,cloves, cinnamon stick,dry ginger powder in Rajma and boil.
  • Peel onion,ginger and garlic. Grind it to paste.
  • Chop tomatoes and make puree.
  • Take a pan,add mustard oil.
  • Add asafoetida and cumin seeds
  • When it crackles,add onion paste.
  • Saute it till colour starts changing.
  • Add tomato puree.
  • Add all masala and cook it covered.
  • Add cooked puree to the boiled Rajma.
  • Cook it for some time.
  • Take a wok,add ghee.
  • Add red chilli powder to the warm ghee.
  • Add this tempering to the Rajma.
  • Add chopped coriander leaves.
  • Enjoy it with steamed rice.
